UPDATE: Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak, this exhibition has been postponed until September. Further information regarding this event will be posted here when available.

Join us for the ICT Annual Conference on Thursday 19th March 2020 in Stratford-upon-Avon.

We are proud to be the Gold and Silver Sponsors of this event, which this year will focus on ‘Concrete: Getting More from Less’. This symposium will focus on the opportunities and concerns in the efficiency and effectiveness of making concrete for the construction sector. Our UK teams will be on hand at the conference to discuss your concrete requirements.

GGBS for sustainable cement

Ground Granulated Blastfurnace Slag (GGBS) is produced from a by-product of the iron manufacturing process. GGBS is a cement replacement in concrete production, with the ability to replace up to 70% of a concrete’s CEMI content. Moreover, it can not only improve durability but also significantly reduce the embodied CO2 of the finished concrete.

MagnaDense for high density concrete

LKAB Minerals supplies MagnaDense to the Concrete Industry as an aggregate in concrete, achieving densities of up to 4.1t/m3. The uses of high density concrete containing the natural iron ore MagnaDense has grown noticeably over the years. Today applications include not only the traditional hospital radiation shielding builds but also bridges & tunnels, nuclear new builds and decommissioning, renewable energy and offshore applications.
