Join us at the NEC, Birmingham on March 25 and 26 to find out more about our range of products for the Concrete industry.
Learn from our GGBS, MagnaDense and Gypsol teams who will be on hand to discuss your concrete and screed requirements.
High density concrete
Our customers use LKAB Minerals MagnaDense in civil engineering applications as an aggregate in concrete. Today the industry supplies heavyweight concrete into a broad spectrum of applications from the traditional hospital radiation shielding builds, to more recent projects including tunnels, nuclear, renewable energy, offshore applications and flood defence.
Environmentally friendly flowing screeds
We produce Gypsol anhydrite screed binder from a by-product, making it a cost-effective, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional sand cement screeds. Our Gypsol products have a standard drying time of just 28 days and our most recent screed, Gypsol Rapide is ready to accept floor coverings in as little as 14 days. In addition, our team of National Specification Managers are available to offer on-site support, providing expert advice for your flooring project.
Each of our screeds are third-party accredited and our range can service any building project, from independent house builds with underfloor heating, to industrial units requiring additional strength.
Portland cement environmental alternative
We make our Ground Granulated Blastfurnace Slag (GGBS) from a by-product of the iron manufacturing process. Used as a cement replacement in concrete production, GGBS replaces the Portland Cement content by up to 70%. Consequently, the use of GGBS can not only improve durability but also significantly reduce the embodied CO2 of the finished concrete.
Why visit the Concrete Show?
The Concrete Show is now in its tenth year and is Europe’s largest specialist concrete event. With over 200 exhibitors, the event showcases concrete from the biggest names in the industry. New to 2020 is the Concrete Direct Connect, the ability to arrange meetings with exhibitors via the show app. Visitors can register on the Concrete Show website.
