Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak, this exhibition has been cancelled in 2020 and is now planned for May 6 and 7, 2021.
The show is currently set to be a physical live show. However, due to the coronavirus, this might change, so please keep an eye on our website for any updates regarding dates, or event location.
For now, we hope you will join us at the NEC, Birmingham on 8 & 9 September 2021 to find out more about our range of products for the Concrete industry.
We are sure you can learn from our GGBS, MagnaDense, and Gypsol teams. They will be on hand to discuss your concrete and screed requirements.
High density concrete
Our customers use LKAB Minerals MagnaDense in civil engineering applications as an aggregate in concrete. Hereto, the industry supplies heavyweight concrete into a broad spectrum of applications. These range from the traditional hospital radiation shielding builds, to more recent projects including tunnels, nuclear, renewable energy, offshore applications and flood defence.
Environmentally friendly flowing screeds
We produce Gypsol anhydrite screed binder from a by-product. Therefore, making it a cost-effective, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional sand cement screeds. Moreover, our Gypsol products have a standard drying time of just 28 days. On top of that our most recent screed, Gypsol Rapide is ready to accept floor coverings in as little as 14 days. In addition, our team of National Specification Managers are available to offer on-site support, providing expert advice for your flooring project.
Finally, each of our screeds are third-party accredited. Also, our range can service any building project, from independent house builds with underfloor heating, to industrial units requiring additional strength.
Portland cement environmental alternative
We make our Ground Granulated Blastfurnace Slag (GGBS) from a by-product of the iron manufacturing process. Used as a cement replacement in concrete production, GGBS replaces the Portland Cement content by up to 70%. Consequently, the use of GGBS can not only improve durability but also significantly reduce the embodied CO2 of the finished concrete.
