Join us for the 2018 Floating Offshore Wind UK event in Aberdeen on 30th October to find out more about MagnaDense in offshore applications.
Co-organised by RenewableUK and Scottish Renewables, the event taking place at the AECC in Aberdeen provides an opportunity to learn more about current progress and future projects in the sector as well as meet with offshore wind professionals.
MagnaDense provides weight to offshore wind constructions
The industry uses MagnaDense in the construction of offshore wind structures for gravity bases and floating platforms. We supply MagnaDense for bulk ballast or to mix in high density concrete, because it provides stability by lowering the centre of gravity or to stabilise offshore structures. Hywind is the most recent floating offshore construction project that uses MagnaDense. For this particular project Equinor place 6 Spar like structures off the coast of Scotland. Most noteworthy is that both loose ballast and heavy concrete were used for this project.
Free Offshore Wind Case Study
Because of the uniqueness of the Hywind project we prepared a Case Study. Hereto we gathered information on the different stages that involved using our high density mineral. We offer this Case Study for free to all interested parties.
Please, visit our stand or contact us to find out more or request the case study.
