The board of LKAB Minerals has appointed Leif Boström as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LKAB Minerals, effective June 1, 2014.
Leif Boström, currently Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of LKAB, has been employed in the LKAB corporation since 1992 and has also served as the CFO of LKAB Minerals from 1998 to 2005.
When presenting the appointment Lars-Eric Aaro, CEO and President of the LKAB corporation commented “I am delighted that Leif Boström has accepted the role as CEO of LKAB Minerals. Leif has considerable experience of the industrial minerals market. He is also a successful and dynamic leader that has a proven track record from his years within LKAB.
