With former LKAB Minerals CEO Bob Boulton retiring as of February 26, LKAB Minerals chairman of the board Lars-Eric Aaro has appointed Roger Johansson interim CEO effective from February 27.
”I am thankful that Roger who is Chief Finance Officer for LKAB Minerals has accepted the interim position. Roger has a wealth of experience and knows the company inside out, I am confident he will do a great job” says Lars-Eric Aaro.
It is expected that a permanent replacement will be communicated within three months.

Roger Johansson says “LKAB Minerals have an ambitious growth plan and clear strategic activities defined to reach our objectives. I will do my utmost to make sure we keep progressing the business and do not lose any momentum in this interim period”.
While welcoming and wishing Roger Johansson success in his role, Lars-Eric Aaro also wishes to acknowledge and thank Bob Boulton for his valuable contributions to the company during his 22 years of employment “Bob has been indispensable for developing and growing the business in the UK. He has been equally important for the company in his latest role as CEO where he spearheaded the most recent LKAB Minerals strategic growth plan and championed the Sustainable Mineral Solutions value offering to customers that the company has today. It has been a true pleasure working with Bob and I wish him a happy and healthy retirement, it is well deserved.” says Lars-Eric Aaro.
