At this event, our partners will be holding a seminar to explain more about the Crossrail C610 FTS project and we will be on hand to answer any questions regarding the project or the aggregate MagnaDense. Find out more about the event or to learn more about the aggregate MagnaDense on our website.
About the project
Due to open in central London from 2018, the Crossrail project will see over 42km of tunnels pass beneath central London.
In certain sections of the tunnel network, the noise and vibration impacts from the operating railway were a particular concern. The solution was a high density floating track slab (FTS), produced using MagnaDense concrete with a density of 3.6 t/m3.
LKAB Minerals and partners are holding a technical webinar regarding this project, hosted by the Institution of Civil Engineers. To find out more, click here.
