Magnetite mineral origin

LKAB Minerals' Magnetite is from our own group resources, ensuring long-term availability and consistent quality. The LKAB mines are located in Kiruna and Malmberget in the northern part of Sweden. The ore is mined and treated at the mine site and railed to one of the two ports - Luleå in Sweden or Narvik in Norway. The ports are part of the LKAB Group logistics structure and are operated all year round.

Magnetite toxicology

The product is harmless to the environment, non-toxic in all its forms and for all practical purposes – inert. You can download the Safety Data Sheet on the right of this page.
