Following on from a successful year of digital webinars and seminars in 2020, we are excited to launch the next phase in our digital services; the LKAB Minerals online learning centre.
One space for all learnings
The online, user led platform is designed to provide training and host on demand webinars, with certificates available upon completion. Currently training courses are available for the Gypsol product range, including an introduction to screeds and installers training, with content in development continuously. A number of the webinars from 2020 and 2021 are also available on the platform.
Adele Redhead, Marketing & Communications Manager responsible for UK Construction for LKAB Minerals commented ‘The learning platform has been a few months in the making and is the next step in sharing knowledge and education with our customers. The learning centre will allow users to access lessons and recordings at their leisure. Upon completion, delegates will receive a certificate for either CPD points or to provide to their employer, ensuring the learning has been recognised and enabling continuous professional development.’
A space for tracking progress
Individuals are encouraged in the user interface to track their progress with different courses and webinars and users can enrol on anything they find of interest. As everything is in one place, accessing learning and content has never been easier!
Digitalisation part of LKAB Minerals future
During the COVID-19 pandemic, LKAB Minerals developed new ways to provide customers, specifiers and end-users with the latest technical information and projects, by hosting a series of webinars and seminars on a variety of topics.
‘It is anticipated that digital and hybrid events are here to stay and with companies moving to a more flexible work approach, having distance learning opportunities are going to become more popular’ says Alan Jackson, Commercial Manager for Gypsol screeds. ‘This platform will enable our customers to provide flexible training to their staff, colleagues and partners, whilst not impacting on productivity.’
‘This is part of a programme of digital learning and website developments for LKAB Minerals’ expresses Ghislaine van Berkom, Online Marketing Manager for LKAB Minerals. ‘We are looking forward to advances in website development, virtual conferencing and user personalisation in the future, and this will go a long way towards supporting that.’
