Our Intermat Stand
We will be in Hall 6 on Stand F128 showcasing our MagnaDense. MagnaDense is one of our magnetite based products. We will be showcasing its applications into civil engineering at Intermat 2024.
MagnaDense for Civil Engineering
MagnaDense is a natural Magnetite used for loose ballast and high density concrete. It has been used in projects include; tunnelling, coastal protection and high attenuation sleepers. We are pleased to showcase a number of case studies at Intermat, highlighting how the benefits of MagnaDense.
The high density of MagnaDense provides more weight with less volume. MagnaDense makes it possible to product concrete with a density of up to 4000kg/m3, about 60% heavier than normal concrete. It is used for the mortar and precast industries as loose-fill ballast material and an aggregate for heavy concrete.
Intermat 2024
Intermat is a construction trade show, looking to showcase ‘showcase sustainable construction solutions and technologies.’ This year they are highlighting sustainability, and have decided on this years theme as ‘low carbon.’ They will be exploring innovation, energy, new equations, and CSR commitments in the building and civil engineering sector.
This years event takes place at the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte in Paris, France.
