Chrome Alumina is produced by fusing high-purity calcined alumina and chromium oxide. The end product has excellent hardness and resistance properties.
LKAB Minerals Chrome Alumina is produced during the manufacture of aluminothermic chromium metal. Applications include the manufacture of furnace and ladle refractories, abrasive grinding wheels, and as a decorative road surface aggregate.
